JSS Photos LLC is the creation of John S Sadowsky.  On April 3, 2026, I entered my seventh decade. This is my retirement business.  I hope to keep this thing going at least until I'm eligible to run for POTUS (at least a decade from now).

This website is a work in progress. Not all site features are available. You can sign up for membership, but most membership features are not yet available as explained below.

I am proud to have my work on display at Arts by the Bay in Havre de Grace, a cooperative of forty local artists on the top of the Chesapeake Bay by the Susquehanna river. Stop by, we have some great artists!

Products & Services

JSS Photos is vertically integrated!  I shoot digital photographs, process them using a variety of software, print them with conservation-grade pigment-based inks on fine-art photographic papers, and frame them with conservation-grade materials and methods.

  • Large Landscape Catalog You may peruse the galleries on this site at your pleasure. You may purchase these as

    • Full resolution image files

    • Prints with a variety of framing options.

  • Commissioned shooting

    • This includes community events like Photos with Santa.

    • I will not do formal events such as graduations and weddings. You should hire a professional event/wedding photographer for those special events.

  • Processing I have over 20 years experience post-processing using a number of image processing software applications. Have some images, perhaps scans of old slides or prints, that need a bit of spiffing up?  I can can do that for you.

  • Fine Art Printing

    • Epson P900 Surecolor ten-ink printer using UltraChrome®️ pigment-based inks produce vivid colors with 200 year rating for archival prints.

    • Photographic and fine art conservation-grade papers from the Red River Paper company and other quality suppliers.

  • Framing

    • Wide variety of available frames - black metal frames in stock.

    • Conservation, Non-Glare, 99% UV Acrylic glazing.

    • Acid-free quality mat board, backing and other materials.

Membership Benefits

Most membership benefits are not available at this time - yup, the ones in red. I hope to have these features available within a few months.

  • Advanced Gallery Features Anyone may browse may browse the public galleries, but extra features are available to members. These include

    • Private Member Data: For each image, members will be able to set private data including star ratings, personal tags (in addition to the public tags I provide), and even your personal notes on the image. This data will persist between logins, and it is only visible to you. With the exception of the average star rating averages all members, this data is available only to the member. (I will consider a share with other members option at a later time.)

    • Gallery View Customization: Members will be able to select which images are viewed using their private stars and/or tags.

    • Private Galleries: Member will be able to create their own private galleries from any images in the public galleries, members only galleries, and the private galleries.

  • Blog with Forum Participation: Anybody can read my public blogs, but only members can add comments. The comments section of the JSS Photos Forum post will be used as a members forum for feedback and to ask public questions.

  • Membership is free!
